Anna Sofia was put onto Doogood’s radar when she was only 13 years old, and have been working with the young star to this day.
Anna was introduced to Jeff Hazin (producer, songwriter, mixer) who was integral in her early development stages. The result was her debut EP Self Aware Bitch released in 2020 with Electric Feel/ Republic Records. Electric feel brought in Grammy-award winning producer Frank Dukes to help create the breakout title track “Self Aware Bitch” which has accumulated over 4M streams on Spotify alone.
Anna followed up her debut project with her “grungier funk” Broken Perfection EP which was released in 2020 with Electric Feel/ Republic Records. With this new taster, Anna creates sophisticated but immediate indie-meets-R&B bangers that are totally free of pretense and bullshit, singing directly from the heart of Gen Z experience.
2021 saw Anna independently release a series of successful singles in partnership with Venice Music (Q&A) (owned and operated by Troy Carter, founder and former manager of Lady Gaga), including a feature on young friend’s SUGARCOATED. Anna will be kicking off 2022 with the new single “No.5” and her genre-bending third EP.
