Renforshort

Doogood was introduced to Renforshort through a mutual friend when she was only 12 years old and has continued to work with them since. They shortly introduced her to Jeff Hazin – producer, songwriter, and mix engineer – who has been her go-to collaborator for all of her catalog. After releasing just to independent singles (“Waves” and “Mind Games”), Lauren inked
her first record deal with Interscope Records in 2019.

Last March, at the peak of the pandemic, she shared her debut EP teenage angst. Her breakout song “I drive me mad” caught the attention of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, who remixed and released a version of the track. From there, she found fans in Travis Barker, Blackbear and Finneas. And she hasn’t slowed down since.

While quarantine found many teens biding their time making TikTok videos, renforshort continued cutting her teeth writing music. The result is her sophomore EP off saint dominique, a collection of deeply reflective and snappy tracks that range from acoustic pop to alt-rock to pop-punk.

The Canadian songstress will be kicking 2022 off with her new single “moshpit”, and will release her highly anticipated debut full-length album.
